As part of our commitment to optimising the lives of our community, Community Gateway is expanding its service across the Wollongong and Shoalhaven area. Gateway Life is designed to deliver a unique service offering a range of physical, social and wellness benefits to people living in our local community. Gateway Life will be staffed by highly qualified health and clinical professionals such as Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist, Exercise Physiologists and Occupational Therapists. Gateway Life’s health hub will use specialised exercise and strength training equipment via an evidence-based approach to deliver tailored services and programs for our members, in a safe, friendly, and supportive environment.
Gateway Life will optimise outcomes for people who are with a disability or a chronic disease and people who are aged or entering the aged stage of life. This is ensured via a bespoke health management plan developed by GL’s interdisciplinary health model and gym equipped with high-tech equipment to help our community navigate chronic disease, supporting you as you age and persons with a disability.
